As pleased as I always am to read about a fellow fast wagon enthusiast, it’s weird that an English royal drives a German car, right?

One thing I’ve noticed about Mecum is it seems to be a great place to pick up mint-condition cool and desirable cars that are not true rarities or collectors items (yet). Saw a low-mileage CTSV Wagon go for 30-somethingK. Last time I checked, they go for 50K+ out in the real world. Feel like I’ve seen similar with

Build of the Week is so great. Please keep them coming forever.

By releasing the fastest 1/4 mile production ever they have shown they’re not serious about 1/4 mile time?

Seeing a lot of folks here asking what if? about a Hellcat Magnum. Live the dream and build your own (or rough approximate) :) 800 RWHP daily driver - when you need groceries RIGHT NOW!

There are other paths to similar result :)

I am always thrilled to “bump into” someone whose dream car is/was also a Magnum SRT8. Especially since outside of pre-release Demon hype, the LX/Modern Mopar world doesn’t really exist on this otherwise awesome site. I picked up my pristine low-mileage one almost two years ago after lusting over them since they came

I agree that if this car had actually run in the 10s, there would be a timeslip or at least a dyne sheet posted. I’m sure that someone is assuming, based on presumed HP and weight, that it could run in the 10s. And it very well might be able to. As for what strips would allow that to happen, I’d say quite a few. I

My supercharged Magnum SRT8 comes close already - albeit with a few more HP (717 at the wheels) - but even I am tempted by the prospect of a true Hellwagon.

Somehow I missed this. Check out @fivedoorhemi on IG if you’re so inclined.

Not directed at you per se, Rob. But I see a lot of folks writing about how after-market supercharged projects making huge hp must be a real handful to drive. Makes me wonder how many people who hold that opinion have driven one. That’s not to say a modded and blown car making 700-800hp doesn’t have its

Any 5.5/6.1/6.4 is just a Whipple/Kenne Bell/Procharger away from being a “Hellcat.” Which is awesome.

I’m not, although Robert’s Magnum is a masterpiece. Just a guy that loves the idea of an absurdly powerful station wagon so I decided to stroke and blow one. Wait a minute . . .

Yeah, they’re as legit as it gets in the hemi modding/tuning world.

You can stroke to 393, supercharge and upgrade diff/axles for $25K and achieve basically the same result. Ask me how I know.

I just found myself in the exact same circumstance and lucked across an 06 Dodge Magnum SRT8 with only 19K on the clock. It’s the most fun car I’ve ever owned, is great for adding and has good oddball appeal if you like that sort of thing.
