In varying degrees of quality, the first 5 Elm Street movies and then New Nightmare are worth watching if you have interest in them.

Very true, but the down side is that SOA's ratings when through the roof after season 3 when he abandoned coherent storytelling for the shock of the week so I expect more of the same here.

Wasn't that the same episode where the girl from Child's Play 2 was being a bad influence on him and Brandon had his shirt unbuttoned most of the way down and was acting like a jerk?

I think it's a fun show, I love the episode where he is smashing a guitar while on a stage, it's surreal.

I always thought it sounded like a mashup of Elfman's Batman and Dick Tracy scores.

I think his stylistic parodies are just as good, if not better, than his song parodies.
