I think it’s pretty straightforward. The mid-drive ones you basically just take out the bottom bracket and install a new one that has the motor attached, then you’re just doing fiddly work running cables. The hub-drives ones I think are more work as you have to entirely re-build the rear wheel.
Actually they *do* have it on the right side.
I need to start monitoring the government auction sites in case one of those pops up.
Except this is no longer the case. Toyota has 4 2020 models with Android Auto....the 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra, and Sequoia.
I seem to be in the minority but i have always found the i8 to be a really good looking car. Used to be several in my Denver neighborhood and i loved them. Looked particularly good in deep blue, imo. Good luck!

When the toddler gets a little older you could look at getting a ride behind bike. My kid likes riding behind me and pedaling a little. I think the one I have is from WeeRide.

Yeah, I have little range anxiety for the most part. This would cover the vast majority of our driving and we’d still have a gas vehicle on the side that could be used for longer cold trips. I’m really looking at getting an EV for our next vehicle.
