Unless they *insert thing that they are absolutely doing*

They do have a way to verify the SSN number. They already use this to prevent minors from playing video games after midnight. Korean SSN is used in a variety of other services as well, gaming or otherwise.

but who knows in foreign countries

I wanted to thank you for a reasonable and level-headed article. I’m especially glad you made sure to note that the radiation is well-contained at the moment and isn’t leaking out.

Wow! What a shitty attitude to have on a tech blog. Every article I read from you gets worse and worse. So many errors or flat out lies. And now you are insulting your audience. Please stop writing for a tech blog if you are going to remain so ignorant to the subject you are writing about.

And Beukeboom goes the dynamite.

Because benchmark graphics need to be pretty first and not informative at all.

I really hope you wrote this reply to be sarcastic, because if not...well... you sound like an incredibly insecure dick as a writer, and in general, just a jerk. I have no clue why in the world, when someone comments with a number of really well written points that could seriously improve your post if you took them

I just wanted to say - fuck you. What the fuck is your problem? “YOU add confusion.” A reader was trying to improve your piece of shit article. Your charts are confusing - it’s true. They give zero context - ZERO. What a garbage article. After reading this zero-context, piece-of trash click-bait article, it made me

I assume I’m looking at the updated charts and holy fuck this is still terrible. In the article, you cite how much faster the i7 is in minutes, but provide no sense of scale. In the chart, you don’t label anything, so visually it’s impossible to know what if the difference in the bars is meaningful. Even when you

Nice comeback... this is why we can’t take Gizmodo seriously, you act like kids in an elementary school whenever someone makes a decent point about improving your editorial skills.

You write an article featuring half-assed metrics and then attack your readers for it? Thanks for keeping up the generally low quality of writing that’s common here. Wouldn’t want people thinking they were reading an actually relevant tech blog.

Also, if that graph was on a logarithmic scale then the the small visual differences could represent a huge numeric differences. Without axis it is impossible to tell.

There is nothing more ugly than an unlabeled chart :-)

Wow. First demonstrate your ignorance about how to display useful data, then insult readers who are actually interested in the data you’re trying to present.

Your graphs are bad and you should feel bad. Everyone is completely correct in shaming you to correct them. This is chem lab 101 stuff. Always labeling your axes is burned into your brain.

You just wrote something on the i5 vs i7. You’re as much a nerd as those who are interested in reading such a thing.

Yeah... cause it it is better to be visually pleasing than give actual useful info.

Jesus H. Christ there are like 999 things wrong with those graphs. There are more things wrong with them than there are right with them.

If you’re showing bar graphs without any axis label, why use “higher is better” on some and “lower is better” on others? It just adds confusion.
