I don’t think those books were written as predictions. Just cautionary tales.

It’s not an oversimplification. If you watched the movie, you would know that all of the actors played various characters of different ethnicity, gender and age. It was the film’s central conceit.

I don’t know, Sansa’s rape wasn’t a problem for me. The fact she’d avoided a wedding night for so long was starting to seem off. The focus on Theon’s feels about her rape was the problem.

The era in which Spaceballs, Blazing Saddles, History of the World, etc. came out was a niche for these smart, parody films.

How is this fanservice? And also, I mean, wouldn’t fanservice be to bring back the original actors because that’s what fans want?

I’d kinda rather have Felicia Day as the successor to Joel and Mike. Not only would she get more screen time that way, but it’d add a fresh dynamic to have a female lead interacting with Crow and Servo.
