*Spoilers for the most recent episode of Doctor Who if you haven't watched it yet*

This short predates Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by more than a decade.

Still relevant!

I like to imagine that this scene is the epilogue to the greatest crossover epic never told.

The new cast don't act like anything remotely close to professional military personnel. Of course, the scripts of the new movies don't exactly write Starfleet as anything close to a competent, professional organization, either. I blame the writers.

I'm actually surprised that the ages are so close. The new cast seems so much younger, don't they? Is it just because the actors are prettier, or because they have more modern styling? Or am I crazy?

I don't think investigation into possible monetary misuse is stupid. The fact that you recognize how limited NASA's funds are, shows the importance that frivolous spending of its budget shouldn't be tolerated. I am glad that it turned out that everything was above board, but the result of an investigation shouldn't be

Historian Nitpicks:
1) There were no Dark Ages. The credible historians of the period now call it either 'Late Antiquity' or the 'Early Middle Ages' - the exact deliniation of those two periods has not been agreed upon yet, but the field is moving towards an idea of a 'Long Late Antiquity (300-800 C.E.) and a short

I don't know if it strictly counts as science fiction, but fuck it... David Cronenberg's Naked Lunch. Bug type writers with talking arseholes and all!

I would have to say Zardoz qualifies.

I still can't figure out if Gosling is a genuinely talented actor, or some sort of Faulknerian idiot man-child blessed with the benefit of good looks.

If there's one guy I never grow tired of seeing, it's Donal Logue. Along with Andre Braugher, he's another fellow who ended up leading off a fantastic/canceled Shawn Ryan series. If you haven't seen Terriers, check it out immediately. Screw the stupid title, and screw the poster that makes it look infuriatingly like

totally john noble from fringe. though anna torv was also great, john should have won something at least.

I could introduce a Dothraki viewpoint character, but I already have like sixteen viewpoint characters. I could kill some of my viewpoint characters, to get down to the seven or eight I started with, or some numerical equivalent.

To tell the truth, I really didn't like this episode except for the G.I. Joe spoof.
Every other parody was way to bland. They weren't playing with the meta(like the other spoofs) they were just using them.
The previous animation one with the anime gags was freaking funnier than this one just cause it played with it.
