I really like the way this car looks. And strangely I don't really care that it looks like an R8 copy. Who is going to complain about getting to see more good looking cars? The badge doesn't matter to me. A Renault that looks like an R8 is still better than an Audi that looks like another boring sedan. I still smile…
I ask because basically every new mid-size sedan, maybe with the exception of the Kia Optima and Mazda6, all look exactly the same now. Any other good examples of this?
It's convergent evolution. Carmakers are trying to solve the same problems - aerodynamics, weight, safety rules, visual appeal and fashion (ie. LEDs), and so on. So, cars trying to fit similar niches will often look similar, unless the carmaker deliberately adds extra styling which sets it apart in some way.
Yes, a Bentley, Aston Martin, and Maserati are supercars, because they're limited production, expensive and powerful models of some of the most desirable brands on Earth. It's not like I said "Chevy Cavalier". The term "supercar" is a vague term in itself, but I'm pretty sure you can have these ones apply.
Why do you have to be like that. I'm just saying those are supercar numbers and you're talking about Cavaliers and proving stuff.
Laughing? You need medicated? Dude, read my reply. Either you replied to the wrong person or you've had one too many beers. You said VAG doesn't consider the R8 a supercar, according to their website they do.
I knew you were gonna answer that. But as I said, that's an entire different subject. With those figures AND being a purpose-built supercar, which it is (not a modded Cavalier), it's a supercar.
That's funny because I just went to Audi's R8 website and read this: "An exotic SUPERCAR deserves a drivetrain to match. Luckily, the R8 comes equipped with our legendary quattro® all-wheel drive system."
Dood. Carbon tub, 2400lbs, $55k … "so overpriced".
What about 3 Dodge Grand Caravans @ $20,895 each? $62,685 for 849hp.
I would rather have the 4C or Camaro Z/28. Hellcat is fast but I would like to see how it compares in times at Big Willow or Streets compared to those two. 4C vs Hellcat would be very interesting as they are essentially foils for each other. But of course, that kind of test is not really what the Hellcat was designed…

... In the USA.
You need a hash tag. Everything is hash tags these days.
I can't explain exactly why, but it feels like AM is a better fit under BMW than Mercedes. It'd be amazing if McLaren could buy them, though. Keep them British, and give McLaren a few somethings to slot under the MC-12 4C/650S.
Can you imagine a Vantage with P1-style torque fill?
"NO V12s NO PEACE!"
WTF dude, it doesn't even look that bad.
I like it. Sue me.
Nope, only the V8 and the Ecoboost will be available in Europe.
