Sprint races in spec cars gets hairy. You don’t have much time to make a move before the leaders run off with a clear track, and you’re not appreciably faster than anyone else. A little straight line bump draft is pretty common (though technically not allowed) in the karting I’ve done.

Most folks try to avoid those. That’s why they’re called ‘accidents’ not ‘on-purposes’.

The 300 is even dumberer, because it doesn’t even have a shifter! That stupid like dial could go literally anywhere.

Every hot shotter I’ve seen seems to favor at least a 3/4 ton and usually a 1 ton dually. What is this guy hauling around in a 1/2 ton short bed truck?

Fellow C5 homer in agreement. If one isn’t too particular (which I realize is a dumb thing to say about someone wanting a Mk4 supra...) you can get a C5 for sub $10k. They’re not as comfy or pretty, but just as fast.
