I know this will get me in trouble, and I don’t normally condone farming out wrenching, but DIY oil changes are soooo overrated. It usually takes longer doing it at home (trip to buy supplies, trip to dump used oil at AdvanReillyZone, cleaning up all those damned drips) and its usually cheaper where I go. Jiffy Lube

COTY. Shut it down til January folks.

That should do the trick.

But the 5.4 actually is a boat anchor, right?

24HoL is a farce. While this may be a ‘budget’ racecar, no one believes the $500 part. World Racing League looks like a better fit; similar principle to Chumpcar, but without the financial shackles.

“Designed entirely on a computer and..”

So they’re good for less than 20 years; that’s what you’re saying right? Pay more for something that wears out faster!

“This would be like Oakley saying their sunglasses now come with SuperVisionShield, which is really just lenses.”

The rat rodders sit at shows because you can’t drive those stupid things. See the Sailor Jerry car Roadkill episode above. Or the ‘jeep rod’ episode.

“UTAH! Gimme two!”

Is the BOV pointed right at the riders face?

I have that one a lot. The shit of it is, I actually lived it, too. Skipped Calc 2 lab for months and did the whole semester's matlab assignments in about a 14 hour day. Somehow managed a C in that and never had to take another math class and have not done any calculus since in my 10 years of 'engineering'.

Glad I read this through, because the lead sentence and pic had me thinking you were going to spend all those words condoning shitcan “rods”. We agree, the world does not need more s10 based cars.

I guess that makes sense. I'll keep out of fancy cars so I don't grow to dislike my cheap ones.

Does the person shopping for a new $90k LC know that the sticks and switches are from a Sienna/Camry/LesserMortalCar? Have those folks ever been in a lowly car such as this?

They pretty much all look the same. That is the point though, right?

You sure about that?

Some were not in the middle, but little button you had to aim for. Mid 90s F150:

I appreciate them more in my 2000 Sierra than in my 2013 Sienna because the new ones lean SO FAR forward it actually forces my neck forward. This is incredibly uncomfortable after about 20 minutes. The old ones catch you before you go to far to whiplashville and aren't in the way. Boo, extra safety.

May I ask why no one ever drives this car? Despite being a Corvette, you can actually have them function as a motor vehicle without exploding (usually).
