They’ve already done a pretty thorough of reinventing themselves once. Mitsubishi used to be company known for building interesting turbo AWD cars that punched well above their weight, even if they were lacking a little bit in the reliability department. 

It’ll be an interesting time when autonomous cars are good enough for 99% of driving, and the only time humans ever take the wheel is in blizzard conditions when the autonomous systems simply won’t work.

If I was in charge of Mexican GP trophies, I would make one for next year that was biggest, gaudiest, most over the top monstrosity I could come up with... and make 3 normal ones.
