No, I’m specifically asking what the Forester XT, Legacy XT, and Outback XT have in common with the original Subaru XT that other trim levels of those models don’t (beyond the letters X and T in their names)

The good things about original XT are currently available as Trim Levels of almost every Model of Subaru.

Saw this little fella at an SVRA race a few years back and fell for it.  It’s a Cooper Monaco that’s motivated by a Ferrari V12.

Yeah... the question wasn’t so much “Why don’t they use letters the ‘X’ and ‘T’ in names anymore?” as it was “Why don’t they make a wedge shaped AWD coupe with pop-up headlight anymore?”

The 1.8-liter engine made 195 horsepower an 130 lb-ft of torque, and though the latter number isn’t impressive, the former absolutely is considering the displacement and lack of boost, and also the vehicle’s tiny, roughly 2,600 pound curb weight. “What about the hardware?” you ask? Let Clavey once again walk you

1 ?

1) The vehicle’s primary design goal is to haul cargo

I say replace the body-on-frame requirement with 1) Must have a towing capacity equal to or greater than it’s own GVWR (Or at least able to be configured as such)

My first thought too... He did say he wanted something with a warranty, but I think this should get financial immunity from that requirement for the simple fact that a manual CTS-V wagon won’t depreciate.

Pffft, I could do it in an afternoon for $200.

...And the liberals would wholeheartedly back the measure, saying that state laws shouldn’t be able to supersede federal laws.

I like the look of symmetrical exhaust better, but there’s been a bajillion cars over the course of history with V-type or flat engines and single exhausts.

All the pieces were there, but only you were able to put them together. Take your star.

Only tangentially related as I’ve never driven one, but the Kenworth 963 has recently entered the sphere of things I’m aware that exist, and I now want to drive one more than anything.

Makes sense, right? They could be a little bit heavier. I mean, they make them now like papier-mâché. Somebody touches them and the entire car collapses. When somebody hits me, I want to be in as close to an army tank as possible. No, they’re made out of papier-mâché. They weigh about three pounds and if you get hit

Ah, but you forget the Cobalt SS, good sir.

Eh, 4 and 6-point cages are okay since there shouldn’t be bars anywhere your head might hit in a crash. 8+ point cages with no helmet can be problematic.

If we were talking about Hart crashing in a stock cuda, I’d be with you. He had major work done that made the car much more dangerous on the highway

2nd gen R32's only came with 2 pedals and are therefore garbage. $17k would easily get you into a similar mileage Golf R though, which has AWD, 3 pedals, and 4-doors (or 5 if your a pedant) from the factory.

This... And if you absolutely had to have an AWD 4-door Golf, you can pick up 100,000 mile Golf R’s for less money.
