I mean, if I were in car design, I would doodle nothing but stuff like the Streamliner honestly. Think about it, if every design house went that balls-to-the-wall all the time, no matter how unrealistic it was, how awesome would the American car industry be?
I’d rather have the MR2. The engine’s in the rear and it’s cool in an ugly kind of way, kinda like the bugeye Impreza.
First Gear: yayyyyyy!
I wouldn’t pay $45,000 for a clean one, god forbid a shady “McLarens” edition. Pretty sure this person is either inept, or inept and trying to con someone. Also, there appears to be candy sitting near the gearshift in the picture haha.
Well that does it, I suppose I'll have to see another Fast/Furious movie.
recommend since this is something I’m prone to doing as well hahahaha
The only reason I downvoted was the price was just a little too high. Great mileage on the motor, distinctive convertible top, perfect quirky car for my perfect, quirky lady. But I don’t see spending nearly $10K on a car with 80,000 miles on the transmission/body and built in 1985. Also should have left all the wood…
I miss the beat-em-up tan plastic interior of my old Jeep Cherokee. The Mazda 6 has one of my favorite black interiors today, but the rest are all so depressing. Car companies need to admit they’re not making Audis and do something different
Ooooo.. I love conspiracy theories. You're right, Wilman's smarter than to think an email to 13 people wouldn't get leaked.. much less 113. If this is the first step in the plan.. keep the hype going for some reason, what's step two?
I agree. I'd definitely by a 9-2X for the right money though, just as I'd be happy with a Subaru BR-Z with a Scion badge.
I have confidence in them. You can't do something that great without a team, and that's where the bulk of the value lies in something as big as Top Gear. And if Clarkson finds a new outlet, we could have two great car programs where before we had one.
