Oh, Basel, will you ever stop being an awesome crossroads of French, Swiss, and German culture, the home of multinational financial regulatory summits, and whatever the hell this is? Keep on Baseling.

Maybe the Tesla was speeding?
There was an Aztek done up for SEMA which I thought looked pretty great. It’s funny how this vehicle got shit on for its styling, and now cars like the BMW X4/X6 and Mercedes GLC are proliferating.
Would go back to the early 90s for the Nazca M1 successor concept. Alpina modified twin turbo V12? Check. 6 speed manual? Check. RWD? Check.
This story I can’t read talks about the guy. Looks like he did this over 20 years ago. http://flnka.ru/aktualnoe/4921…
Maybe we both win?
We have multiple events throughout the year. Unfortunately the only track inside Switzerland is in Seelisberg. But otherwise we always go in France or neighbouring countries for drift day events.
We had a US cars meeting in Switzerland this week end, here is a rolling shot of our convoy. C” Corvette, 1964 pulled by the new X5M50d, driven by me.
So many classes, with so many different cars. So ridiculous to see WRX STis, Toyota GT86s, BMW E34s and E36 M3s competing with all the usual weaponry. Also, 1 out of every 11 cars being a Porsche Cayman, half of which weren’t GT4 Clubsports.
WD40 also works great for tar if you happen to splash some after driving on fresh asphalt.
I agree WD40 or lighter fluid if you have a nice paint job NOT hand sanitizer! On an old XJ Jeep brake fluid.....leave it for a few weeks.......
Wd40 also works well, and you probably already have it in your garage. WD40 also will take out small scuffs.
A man in Washington state bought a used BMW that he thought was in good working order, only to have the engine…
Oh my, that’s laughable. You must not have been around at that point.
It’s just inherent in their design, you can’t bend it at all or it’ll wear out. See how it just king of ends allowing for all of the bending to happen at one point?
Yeah, but they only hit him to avoid the parade that could have been in the street.
Of course if you can’t make up your mind there once was an option to have many colours, all at once.
My favourite automotive obsession that no one in the world seems to share with me is cars in non-standard colours and green is pretty much at the top of the pack. Look at this:
The best is Canadian car ads. They’ll report the L/100km accurately, in little tiny print at the bottom of the screen, and then quote miles per imperial gallon (or just an inflated number) in the voice over.
