Faster and cheaper is not. There are also a ton of slow FWD cars.

The Renault Megan Sport 275 R that set that record is $60,000. That's an expensive car. there are plenty of cars faster than it that also look cooler.

Money is always important. If cost is no object then almost anything is possible. You can make a lead balloon but its a lot easier to use latex.

I agree. Other than the Cobra and Kodiak none of these are offense on their own. The C3 is almost normal looking and even the Jeep has that Hotweels feel going for it. This combination in that garage makes me wonder how the hell anyone can spend more than 30 seconds in there without bashing their head into a wall.

I'd put that in the category of throwing a lot of money at it to make it tolerable. Its still not that great and a BRZ/FRS is way better while in the same price range.

Understeer sucks and uncontrollable snapoversteer sucks even more. I.admit fwd can be tolerable if someone has dumped a ton of money into it or its a lemons car.

I think hot hatches are dumb. If you need an efficient car get the cheap one with a couple options and use the extra money om something cool. Using a FWD economy car platform is starting on the wrong foot.

Modern cars don't have the sharp lines or chrome that a two tone needs to look good.

We really need to break this up into two categories. One for production based and one for prototypes. The Production based cars have marketing tie ins and are based on something that is supposed to look good.
