Surprised Cronenberg's Naked Lunch isn't on the list. While I generally like the film, it is not an adaptation of the book. Large chunks of Naked Lunch are missing. Cronenberg filled in the gaps with mythologized episodes from William Burroughs' life and a couple bits from Exterminator! Close, but no cigar.
