Worker: I’m ready to work.
Worker: I’m ready to work.
If you want an economy to grow, you have to create the right incentives. For the same reason we have patents, we have non-competes.
Wealth is created through enterprise, not working. Communist China starved for decades with tons of labor available. Now they incentivize initiative through quasi-state capitalism, and have lifted tens of millions out of extreme poverty and starvation.
This swings both ways. Without non-compete clauses companies are disincentivized from training employees. Spend 6 months learning the business, then turn around and destroy your former employer as a competitor.
This is in my estimation the biggest problem with Trump. Through sheer shamelessness she’s shifted the norms of how presidents and politicians behave, dragging everyone else with him.
You seem to think it’s laughable that businesses would ever leave America. You are extremely incorrect, and seem annoyed that I am pointing this out.
Yes. Swimming pools, by your logic, are supposed to be fun. They can also drown people. While the overwhelming majority use them safely, why shouldn’t we ban swimming pools, per your logic.
Re: “agita,” try a google search.
Drugs aren’t weapons, and yet we treat them very carefully.
People under the influence of alcohol most certainly inflict crime, death, and mayhem on others.
Yeah, murdering the wealthy and successful has always worked well throughout history. Amazing we don’t want to do that again.
You can view public content and events on Facebook without a login, unless the user says otherwise. But again, this is in no way monopolistic, no more than requiring a login to use email is monopolistic.
So she’s for humane deportation or nah?
If your border plan does not include any deportation or arrests, how is that different than open borders?
You need a Kinja login to post, comment, follow. It might be more publicly visible than Facebook, but...so what?
I do, and so do millions of others.
I’m amazed that you can seriously type this without thinking it through.
What do you think the wealthy would do if you imposed this tax on their assets over 100 million? Making it basically impossible to earn significant wealth and found large corporations in the United States?
What about the incentives to build and keep wealth in a particular place?
Non answers? Brilliant.
