I'm just going to say that whilst the film wasn't outstanding or anything, the ending was magnificently bleak. Also that film is like a fucking masterpiece compared to this trainwreck of a show

basically it would've humiliated Cercei, lost her many allies very likely including the Iron Bank therby depriving her of funding for the war effort and the Lannister's would be rendered an ineffective fighting force given they'd likely try to retake Casterly Rock which is virtually impossible to take unless they knew

you clearly haven't read anything about Aquaman for the last decade or so

we also get wonder woman screenplay…

they already had done that in series 3 if I remember rightly

that and he was friends with Death…

well this was clearly made with genuine affection for the source material as well as a healthy amount of ambition

*a heavenly wah waah waaahhh sounds*

the one shot did both; the main story is a legitimately fantastic noir. the backup story is a looney tunes short in comic book form and is laugh out loud funny!

Ironically the one shot is actually fantastic

the thing is though is that it isn't, what DC has actually been doing is winning back old fans and appealing to new fans, really the only people who are actually unhappy are the fans of new 52 books that have been radically changed (inspite of the massive bump in quality) i.e. superman, wonder woman ect.

she did glance at him when he did it like she was thinking "You really want to lose that arm don't you".

A genuine collab effort between the two would produce an amazing film

Well Luddendorf is arguably one of the War's big bads since he refused to concede what virtually everyone in the German high command knew by the winter of 1914; they could not win the war. Luddendorf prolonged the conflict in the hopes to secure better terms for Germany thus costing millions of lives. In essence he

I would argue that BvS is more of a rejection of the randian view of heroes, firstly superman's power is shown to be a part of him but what makes him a hero is his humanity and his compassion, when the crowd reaches for him its clear he is deeply uncomfortable with it, he does not see himself as someone who should be

I wouldnt say his view of superman is Randian at all, if it was he would never be superman nor would his main drive i.e. to help others even if that means destroying his own chance at a relatively normal life, I think that in Snyders mind superman is essentially as he is in the comics a symbol of hope to the planet

Scott Snyder is heading the whole thing, so it should be interesting, plus according to an interview it seems that they are actually going for good 80's/90's action movie awesome rather than bad 80's/90's action movie suck. so you know its over the top insanity rather than needlessly dark, hopefully they will do

true but then in reality none of these monsters exist nor could they exist because they would collapse under their own weight

Why? it seems like a waste of planet hulk, plus when you have ragnarok surely it should be a smidge more serious since you know its the death of asgard…

who said anything about self seriousness? I am just saying that the film seems like it could be too silly for its own good, thor should be fun but it should not be fucking goofy
