Great cliffhanger. But after that phone call and when the shooting started I was expecting Hank or Gomez or both to be full of holes like Alex Murphy in RoboCop.

Not bad. But I'd still rather watch a whole show about Louis Litt.

A strong episode. I particularly like how they back-tracked to the missing Jesse from the opening house scene. And the guy at the end picking up his child — very clever.

I never thought a character would annoy me more than the cloying Rita, and I cheered when she exited. But Hannah is the show-killer. She's totally sapped Dexter of its mojo.

Seems like all he needs to do now is fuck Hannah with his socks on.

I've enjoyed his characters since The $treet and the movie Cellular (playing a douchbag lawyer).

It might be this season's bottle episode. At least we got more Litt up than usual.

When Harvey kicks the shit out of someone, he flushes twice.

When the show isn't showcasing her toothpick legs or being Mike's schmoopy, she's actually quite a good character — especially teamed up with Louis.

Harvey and Mike are the "Dynamic Douchbags". The other characters are far more entertaining and likable.

I love a bit of the old sailor talk, but it made me cringe this week whenever a character said shit, bullshit, holy shit. It's over-used.

I know. Watching that scene again reminded me why I stuck with the show years ago. It used to have some high stakes and decent writing.

Yes, Stiles is a far better actress. And Lumen a more interesting character.

This clip has more genuine Dexter and story and tension than anything from season 8 (including even the Ghost Harry scenes) — youtube(dot)com/watch?v=LXRc—ilF3M

What about all those fishing lures that are going to get caught on the sunken car wreckage?

I also liked Lumen and hoped she'd stay (but, you know, guesting actors…). And JLM was a terrible bad guy, badly acted.

I have to admit, that establishing shot made me miss the days when Dexter wore his kill costume and moved stealthily in the NIGHT. Then it was over. Then the bin lid opened. That envelope, LOL

Hi, Scott!

Same. I was thinking of The Shield too. Of a better show.

Sergeant Black Lady sat down there and hasn't moved in two or three episodes.
