I was totally pumped to see what presents each of the guests brought.

I'm surprised the Earth didn't start spinning in the opposite direction with all the eyes that probably rolled simultaneously at that moment.

Might as well let him play dominoes with the blood slide collection (which, I will also point out, hasn't seen much action lately).

Fucking hell, those voice-overs were annoying this episode! Literally narrating everything being shown or obvious. I'm a fan of Ghost Harry and would have preferred his appearance to all the pointless Dexter speech bubbles.

I know. Why are those story threads even in the show at this point. Masuka's daughter? Deb and Elway? The Big Promotion? Who cares about that shit when there should be big things going on with DEXTER!

While looking for the missing remote control, Jamie also found a Vigo the Carpathian-style painting of Harry in Dexter's apartment.

Gary Cole is terrific on this show too.

Unfortunately they did not. We can only hope that stupid cartoon she sent around the office gets her shitcanned.

Hey, I never noticed that before. Something to look for when I watch TNG again :)

The old Dexter would have detected the killer vibe in a second.

You mean you don't want to see Masuka being fleeced at the snack van for the rest of the season? Or his daughter move in to his Coconut Grove house and hijinks ensue? That's really the direction this show should go in its final season.

Me too. I guess I like the concept more than the, uh, execution.

I don't care if you liked it.

I like how Deb told Sean Patrick Flanery's character he was "a fucking saint" after tracing the cell phone. A Boondock Saint?

Yes, it's like as viewers we know Dexter's character better than the writers, and what he actions and measures he would take.

You think too much for Dexter writers.

It bothered me more that Jamie didn't knock on Dexter's bedroom door.

The boat scenes in this episode looked equally bad in SD. It just looked like they were floating around on a spring-mounted boat prop in a studio.

I also agree that Litt is the best character and deserves a break by the writers for this reason. Harvey, once smart and cocky, has become just an asshole lately.

Plus, what's on those tapes you wouldn't really want falling into the wrong hands. So why make them?
