The Polo platform was not federalized for the US market and they thought a vehicle the size of the Golf would be a better sell then a Polo based vehicle in the US. In the late 90's sub compacts were super unpopular in the US so it made sense why they would not want to risk it.

GWB: Selma's the gal that wouldn't get off the bus, right?

Best First Lady Ever, or Best First Lady Of All Time...?

I believe the lawyer, but only on a technicality. No one really was the Driver. We all used cheats to get though the parking garage level.

The 1983 Toyota Camry is the first Car we see when he returns to 1985 in the first movie.

You do know if you look at the bottom of the poster it tells you all of the cars right?

The white one? Looks like a Sierra or it's American equivalent.

It is, unquestionably.

And yet people are still defending this overwrought mess...

Mazda and Suzuki's designs are still great (though we don't see Suzuki's cars anymore...), Infiniti's designs aren't bad though their naming scheme is bass-ackwards, Mitsubishi is, well, Mitsubishi. Honda/Acura have been on a long, downward spiral that doesn't have an end in sight. Toyota seems to be a fan of bloated

Trucks actually have some of the highest markups in the business. All of the big three make more on their trucks than any other vehicle in their lineup. And I mean more money per truck, not just because trucks are high volume.

This could be true for crossovers though. Markups on economy cars are very low.

I think a big reason SUVs became popular is because, in the beginning, they were held to the same safety and fuel economy standards as trucks, which were lower than for cars. This made it cheaper to make an SUV than a station wagon, so the manufacturers made the cars trucks they wanted to sell rather than what people

The hose and drogue system is not attached to the boom on the KC-46. There is a Centerline Drogue System (CDS) which trails underneath the boom built by Cobham of Davenport, Iowa and two Wing Aerial Refueling Pods (WARPs) that go on the wings built by Cobham of Wimborne, UK. The CDS and WARPs cannot simultaneously

My experience has been on the other end of the boom but what I see in the '46 is a direct example of junior engineers gone wild. First, lots of unnecessary failure points in the electronics involved. Second, a monitor screen is not as good as direct eyeballs. Adding an Oculus Rift headset means one must raise it up to

Of course, what is the backup for this system? Because we know technology will never, ever fail when you need it most?

Well, the thing is, we can't knock out every mile of their railway. A break in the tracks won't stop this from operating, it'll just keep it operating on one side of the break. Once the launch is complete, its job is done, there won't be any reloading and firing again. This is not a tactical system.

Mazdaspeed my Mazda5 please.
