That’s BS, in 2010 the team did just fine with only homegrown players, and the team also did fine in 2014 (Jermaine Jones, Fabby J, and Brooks being the noticeable exceptions).
It’s not. Youth soccer for girls is mostly played by girls whose parents can pay for their practices. Sadly, many black families cannot afford this, and there aren’t enough soccer fields for underprivileged girls to take advantage of.
Yeah, and the Dream Team should have more white guys on its roster.
If more black girls played soccer, there would be more on the national teams. I’m sure Wambach would be in favor of giving every girlgrowing up in the States a chance to play soccer.
