I had three glorious years with my 06 impala before we outgrew it with a third kid. (Man i loved that car). Traded it in for a minivan, best parenting decision i made since my parents live 300 miles away.

Mine fell off in the parking lot at my kids soccer field. Man was i pissed off. But in all reality it was a pretty easy fix. You take off that back guard and it slides right back on. I had to realign the door which was loosening a screw here and there and adjusting the door back into alignment. I bet you the body shop…
I know, girls belong in the kitchen! Just ridiculous to have them in a garage.
I get maybe at the most 3 or 4 emails a week. So i have a hard time relating to your problem :)
I agree 100%, but it is next to impossible to get everyone in that mindset. Especially old stubborn employees nearing retirement, they can bicker worse than children.
Ok, i am getting bolder and more confident in my repair skills, but i know my limits. A strut replacement, brake pads, sway bar bushings, calipers, rotors, ect... Are all simple bolt here, pry bar there, hammer here type of crap. But body work... Holy shit that is some bold and agressive diy, at least with bolts and…
The itasca to Minneapolis stretch is actually fairly clean water. A big stretch of that is northern woods. You dont hit big ag country until st cloud.
Great work. I have found your articles informative and truthful. Can you do an article on smoking meat soon?
My local supermarket has a fine selection and rivals cyts from the butcher at a lower price. You can find good cuts anywhere, if you know what you are looking for.
It aint an old tractor if there isnt at least a little grinding of the gears
I think your supposed to go 1st to 3rd or 2nd to 4th at the end rows. So it looks like it may actually have a purpose. High to low is usually such a grind.
Tractors are all over the place, some like this one really dont make sense, but it ussually doesnt matter much. You dont shift in order especially in low gear (field gear). You pick a gear and go, so you may start in 3rd.
All i saw was the picture and i recognized your 1970s 4020. Every small farm had one.
Typically in the field, you can start in a higher gear. Its not like a car where you have to follow a sequence. Depending on the load You can ussually skip a gear or 2 when drivig down the road. You would probably start in 5 or 6 and shift to 8 once you get going on the road.
City boy! 1-4 in low 5-8 when you shift to high. That is actually a pretty simple pattern for an old tractor. I can drive anything due to my experiences growing up on a farm
I had a dealer drain my power steering fluid during a trade in evaluation. They tried to say it needed a new pump. I laughed and asked for the keys. His manager sent him back to try and sell me. I walked up to his fat ass manager and told him to give me my keys so i could leave this crooked dealership. He went into…

Dont let low balling assholes waste your time. Firm price, and anyone with knowledge of the market will give you a reasonable offer.
Dont make me take my pants off
