Many of your examples are good, however, "Christian working for a hospital that performs abortions" is not. Most Christians are not fundamentally opposed to abortions. A sizable, and vocal, minority are. However, thinking that all Christians are opposed to abortions is as culturally accurate as branding all Muslims

Tea bag? Why bother - this is a lot of trouble for tea that is doomed to be inferior from the git go. Go to an Asian, Indian or middle eastern market, and buy some good loose tea and learn how to make real tea.

Not only do giant ice spheres look cool; they also melt much slower than cubes, saving you from the disappointment of a watered down drink. You can make four at a time today for just $5. [ Sphere Ice Molds, 4 pack, $5]

And the one on the right is too saturated.

The "bang per buck" meme is so very odd. However, there are so many ways to measure it.

We found ourselves in those staits at a state park. A quick glance showed that the restroom had a forced air hair dryer. Putting the intake of the air mattress over the exhaust of the hand dryer worked a treat. As the air in the mattress cooled off, the air mattress did get a bit softer, but that was easily

A few people have said "Lard is the way, the truth and the light!" OK, will the stuff in the green and white box in the grocery store do, or do you need better lard?

Not at all sure the Automatic is all that good a deal. You can get an ODBII Bluetooth dongle for as little as $8.00 at Amazon, probably less at eBay. And Dash is a great free program that does most of what Automatic will do for you.

In addition to Asian markets, look for middle eastern markets and Indian markets. All have interesting teas at very good prices. The people in these cultures like tea, like good tea, like fresh tea and don't want to pay a lot for it.

While enjoying liver, I tend to avoid it from factory farm sources. Liver and kidney (also delicious) tend to absorb unhealthy things in the animals diet. Like antibiotic residue. Like heavy metals.

And we care because????? Oh. Because no life of our own!

If you follow Techdirt or the Guardian (and you should), you probably know this. As per Edward Snowdon, it seems that Dropbox does not encrypt the data on their servers. As a result, anyone at Dropbox can see your data. And if a warrant is presented, they can turn it over to whomever. http://www.theguardian.com/tec

Many legit companies, and state governments, use trial periods. However, the legit ones pay you for the trial. The idea of a trial is to have a way of seeing if an applicant is a good fit and letting them go without the stigma of firing them. This is especially important in government jobs where it can take several

A quick comment about the "and what the salary will be?"

A number of the examples, like coffee, compared raw ingredients to a service, like a delivered cup of coffee. However, normally markup considers all the costs of producing the delivered product. The costs of the coffee shop - rent, advertising, utilities, water, and so on - and labor - the baristas aren't

It might be time to redo this. 2 years is an eternity online. And a companion piece on VPS hosting services would be amazeballs with amazesauce!

The only downside to this is if you have an ISP that does not allow you to put "your" servers on "their" network. That would be most of them, sadly. I used to host my own sites. It was so much better.

Sorry notsowittysmitty, it's a matter of taste. Many people like liver. If you don't, that's fine, don't eat any.

I was of the impression the OP on this thread was talking about the first recipe in the book, not the recipe picture at the head of post. That breakfast recipe uses 4 eggs, 4 cups of chopped tomatoes and a few other odds and ends. And it shows as $3.60 for the dish and $1.80 per serving.

I've done the garlic thing too, cooked slowly in butter (which blows the $4 a day thing). Also good with artichoke hearts.
