They do have the ones that look like candles, too. They were pretty cool looking.

I had a CFL squiggle bulb in my basement that I kept on all the time so the cat could use her little box and it recently burned out. I popped a 60 watt "regular" bulb in there till I could replace it. I got an 8.5 watt LED at Ikea for $12.95. You cannot tell the difference between it and the 60 watt bulb. They can

I rent space in my business' building to a "Home Amusement" guy and I get to play all kinds of stuff for free. He's very into pinball which is the best part, besides the awesome Asteroids machine he has.

This is a fantastic video. I have always loved Polaroids and still have 2 (not this model, unfortunately). It just goes to show that people have loved taking photos like this well before you could do it on your cell phone. It's probably why cool apps like Vignette and Pixlr, and Instagram have taken off so much.

I really liked this post. Quite informative and I thought it was going to be BS. It was nice to see the Android love, too.

Now, that is one toy I would love to have. Who hasn't dreamed of doing something like this?

I miss it, too, but ScrapeTorrent and KickAss are pretty damned good replacements, IMO.

Isn't that pretty much every os ever?

This was one of the most entertaining things I've seen in a while. I laughed my ass off.

Spyderco makes an excellent triangular ceramic knife sharpener that does a great job on all kinds of serrations. Not to mention that the very nature of serrations keeps them pretty sharp for a very long time.

I have to agree with the "don't gloat" aspect of this story.

I'm so glad this is happening! I loved this series and try to get all my friends to watch it.

Prevention is the best thing. I take Emergen-C when I feel run down and if you actually think you are coming down with symptoms I get tons of rest and I make chicken soup with lots of onions and garlic. It is so easy to do in a pressure cooker.

My family has been in the wiping cloth business since 1920 (i.e. rags). I rarely use paper towels for anything besides a napkin of to drain grease off of something I cooked so as to not ruin a good rag. Thanks for posting this, so many people are almost addicted to paper towels.

I had that Spin Weld toy when I was a kid. It really was one of the coolest toys I've ever had. I had the top fuel dragster kit. It had blue body panels and black I-beam loking pieces for the frame. The idea was that you could build it, race it, and then repair it when it broke. Very cool video!

As good of an idea as this is, I think a Gorilla Pod for less than $20 would be better. If you can afford a camera I would think you could afford one.

This is honestly why I like to take pictures with the shitty camera on my Moto RAZR Maxx. I get so much satisfaction when I can make a picture come out looking cool. I am in no way a photographer, but I do understand a bit about lighting and filters, etc. I use the full version of Vignette for Android to take arty

Like I said, not nit-picking. It was an honest mistake and a pretty good optical illusion.

Well done, really enjoyed that. Thanks.

Not to nit-pick, but the one that you called "logs" are actually corks.
