All due respect to Microsoft, but I don’t buy a game console to play ‘accessibility and value-related initiatives’, and in ten years it won’t be ‘accessibility and value-related initiatives’ that I’ll remember about this generation.

Xbox one’s utterly stupid launch mistakes were some of the reasons why I skipped this whole generation of consoles. Most games worth my time are available on PC anyway which is a better and more convenient platform.

Digimon’s entire third anime season deals with coping with death, grief, and pulling yourself out of self-blame and depression. It’s far, far different as a franchise than Pokemon. And that’s not to say one franchise is inherently better or worse than the other - but Digimon has historically gone out of its way to

Why should white people try to understand your point of view if asking to share your point of view is offensive?

You are a genuinely insufferable person

What kind of response is that? He asked you to elaborate more. He’s not asking for your social security number or culturally appropriating something. Settle down.

God you’re such a trash person.

Um. Wat. Dude said he grew up socializing with people from all walks of life... Jesus, what has the world come to when being tolerant is bigoted.

A story I often tell is that until I saw Shawn dating Angela on Boy Meets World, the idea that a black woman and a white man could be in a romantic relationship together never crossed my mind. As a young person with no real-life examples to draw on, it seemed like an impossibility.

Blizzard has supported Pride Month in the past. Support for the LGBTQ+ community isn’t political in itself, but people conflate it with politics because the two primary political parties in the US have each picked a side. I can’t recall anybody being banned for anything related to the LGBTQ+ community. Blizzard is

It made me daww.

Just a friendly reminder that PS4 has had this feature since launch, but they never advertise it at all. The Share button can make any “local only” game into an online game.

It’s not a controversial statement, it’s an unreasonable one.
All companies abide by the laws of the countries where they operate.

I think you guys are overblowing this thing a little too much.

And yet its open for all other news. That’s what makes it notable and/or sad

Man, this leftier-than-thou stuff is really toxic. Here are some people saying that a) a guy did a good thing and he shouldn’t be punished for it, and b) the company that’s doing the punishing should suffer. Those are both good things, and I really don’t see how it’s helpful to attack them. They’re on your side! But

You apathy and cynicism is inspiring.  You’re so cool and rad.

I really miss the “Best Anime of This Season” articles that Kotaku used to do. They used to lead me to a lot of great gems. These articles are borderline useless, to me at least; it’s just a huge diarrheal dump of everything coming out with no way of knowing if any of it is worth watching.

Dear Clueless Hero: observational comeday is only funny when you have something new, or subversive to say about the observations you’re making.
