    There are other things plants could do (besides run) if there are threats- maybe generate some kind of chemical that makes them taste bad? Not that you would know that from a tomato garden that's been infested with tomato worms. They all seem to taste equally good to those bastards.

    I think that as soon as you start saying that all of anything always does something, you're wrong. Some probably don't think there's anything wrong with themselves, and others probably do (whether it's because they've been diagnosed or because the topic interested them or any number of other reasons people find out

    I don't feel more alone or lonely due to using my smartphone. Of course, I like being alone and almost never feel lonely even when alone, so I don't really relate very well to that being a problem anyway.
