Hell put Angela Bassett in the suit. She kicks ass!
It’s a trend for sure, thanks Spiderverse’s (and now Arcane’s) success. Honestly though I do find it way better than the previous dominant trend towards uncanny “cartoons but with visible pores” tendency pushed by Pixar and Dreamworks.
Interesting. I found his outsider’s perspective refreshing, especially considering most other late night show hosts are American.
Just like that unknown actress starring in Smile
You can just say Danny Boyle. He’s pretty famous.
More likely: If it has a solid ROI, studios will make shitty knockoffs based on the dumbest possible assumptions about the causes of Bros success, and when they fail will over-correct and say “gay movies lose money.”
They’ve got to keep up appearances now that Dowd and Vishnevetsky are gone.
“I’m pretty certain the movie set out to tell the story of a guy delivering a slab of piss to his mates in Vietnam, not set out to tell a story of the follies of the conflict viewed through the lens of 2022 hindsight.”
