Wow, haven’t thought about that song in decades! It was on and off the radio in a matter of weeks in St. Louis, never to be played again. I liked it, but this was before Amazon, so I missed the opportunity to buy it during the short window of time it was in the record stores.

I feel bad for all the stage crew and roadies who were working for the Weeknd.

I’d t-bone a bus full of nuns in a semi for a recording of John Williams conducting Enter Sandman.

Stay strong. Do not give in. Watch this like it was intended to be watched.

On Celebrity Movie Archive, to see the sex scenes.

To their credit, this one might be a good idea given what all has happened. I can’t imagine a DC fan convention is gonna be very happy these days.

There’s also that whole thing about how if Frodo doesn’t deliver the ring in time, his salary will be docked.

How often do you find yourself about to reply to a ridiculous comment before pausing to check for this particular handle?  My personal hit rate has to be at least 50% at this point.

My working theory is that that R* made every character in the game world a miserable prick to assuage the player of hitting 50 civilians on their way to the job - even nobodies on the street bark vapid, hateful incidental lines. It’s a passive whisper to the player, “There are no good people in this world, don’t worry

GTA’s writers were under the impression that even the weakest of jokes can be automatically made funny if they’re shouted at us through the mouth of deranged lunatics as Trevor is a sheltered computer nerd’s vision of a crazy meth head.

The tone of GTA games has always been “Everybody in America is a greedy, solipsistic sociopath (every male character) or a greedy, moronic narcissist (every female character,)” but by V it had become overwhelming. It’s one of those things where they somehow didn’t seem to take into account the fact that players could

Sounds like a real banger!

SR4 was great because it knew its was dumb as hell. That was the point.

Oh, it’s sincere.
