I made the mistake of watching Deadwood after I kept hearing about how great it was. Now that I've seen what the hub bub was about, I can't go back. Hell on Wheels is squandering their captivating setting, although it is nice to hear the show adopts the philosophy that the job corrupts the man irrevocably.
