Not recent, but I was so delighted to learn that Johnny Carson left PP a nice bequest in his will.

I’ve posted about this before, but I used to do direct mail for PP in a big big city. I opened the mail (we got a surprising amount of actual mail) and it was horrifying. And then I got to open an “anthrax” threat, which turned out to be a hoax, thank goodness.

It was hard work. We literally mapped out escape routes…
