Really the best situation you can put yourself in is to teach Game Dev at a college and work on games on the side. Low stress, flexable hours, surrounded by games all the time, an impetus to keep up with the latest tech and trends and quality pay.
This is really a disingenuous title. Is Sauron now expected to be a boss in every LOTR game and if not it is seen as a bad thing? Come on you make it sound like they are making you pay for an end boss, when he really is no big part of the overall story.
I would never go into any LotR game expecting to fight Sauron because it's just not plausible. Hell, even Peter Jackson decided that having Aragorn fight Sauron at the end of Return of the King was a terrible idea.
