You win the internet for today. My cruel shoes thank you.

You’re a fan of “when did you stop beating your wife” arguments. We get it. You act in bad faith, you get shitty responses. Deal with it.

But here’s the rub - you laid a trap, whether or not you can acknowledge that you did. You started this thread with “There’s no hate like the hate white male liberals have for any black woman who chooses not to share our politics.”

They won’t go mum, it’s just another libtard false flag operation doncha know.

So, you watched a movie with sound and explosions in space and thought that nitpicking its science wouldn’t make you look like a pedantic tool. Got it.

I hate to burst your bubble, but it’s happening and has been happening since TFA. There is a very loud minority of fanboys who are even petitioning to get Lucas back, conveniently forgetting that they drove him away in the first place.

Fixer, Camie and Heater were his friends who stayed behind. They have the spotlight in the first episode of the Star Wars radio series, and Fixer and Camie even got action figures.

Indeed - if Luke never left Tatooine, Fixer would have beaten him to a pulp for even looking at Camie the wrong way. Or perhaps in the dream he had killed Fixer in his sleep, seems to be his thing.

I think you need to take a BIG step back and ask yourself when moral responsibility has entered into the decision-making of any sufficiently large corporation. In this particular case, compliance has to begin and end with legislation because corporations do not possess an innate moral compass.

Asohka left the Jedi Order, so Yoda can say that Luke is the last of the Jedi without being wrong. And we know that Jedi can cut themselves off from the Force and disappear. I don’t see any reason why they have to literally die.

Ezra doesn’t need to die for Yoda’s declaration to be true, and frankly I think you’re being hyperbolic about the situation. Diluting the central story and retconning would involve Ezra remaining an active Jedi that Yoda can still sense, and taking part in the Galactic Civil War during the OT period.

Any number of fates can befall Ezra that don’t end in his death. Empire Strikes Back shows that a Jedi can hide from the galaxy in the shadow of a source of Dark Side power. In TLJ, Luke is hiding near a Dark Side site AND cut himself off from the Force.

Any light-side Force user in Rebels has had a target on their back since the show started. Fates may be left uncertain in the end but almost every viewer has assumed they are dead Jedi walking.

That’s bullshit. Placing a pet in a shitty home for a lifetime of misery is not objectively better. It’s not a binary scenario.

Such hyperbole, kudos.

Now playing

You could have been vindicated a lot sooner than today. :) They used Kenner 12-inch figures to plan the shots for the speeder bike chase in RotJ:

I love both of their accents, but you’re right to ask. America seems to have notably difficulty with Scottish accents. See: Gregory’s Girl and Trainspotting dubs for their American theatrical runs.

Conversely, what if you don’t want to do any of those things, and have no need to? You mention some valid criticisms and a few edge cases, but that doesn’t make the Homepod empirically bad. It clearly doesn’t fit your use cases, and that’s understandable. However, you seem to like throwing unrelated “issues” at
