No offense, but I think you are just remembering it wrong. In The First Avenger, Bucky and the other Howling Commandos get captured first, then Cap rescues them. Then it’s the montage of them doing all these missions, AND THEN Bucky falls to where Zola eventually retrieves him (again, I guess you could say). So not a…
