no they did not. they released a patch for the PS4 version to update its performance for PS5 but it was still the PS4 version, whereas this is an outright PS5 upgrade

it’s because it IS simpler combat in AC. From Games ask for an understanding of distance, hitboxes, animations, parries, and weaknesses. AC (especially old school) just requires you to be good with their incredibly easy parry and counter system.
