Hmm. Wonder if theres' gonna be a torrent v2 for this. If so, off to change my status messages to say "wants more Jedi Knight/side-scrolling Sonic/Incredibles sequel/free graphics card.
@Dr_Fumbles: I can't wait for the legal precedent set by someone being jailed for incinerating their Weighted Companion Cube.
@ThursdayNext: I know its wrong, but damn if I didn't just snort a huge amount of tea onto my keyboard.
My CPU overheated. The rule remains the same: When using thermal grease, an excess is better than too little.
Amazon have just sent me an email saying my Collectors Ed has been dispatched. Wooo tat!
Looks like somewhere in between the Knight and Squire gear and other similar "war-gear" that Batman has donned over the years when his basic armour wasn't quite up to the task, suggesting he is either fighting people with prodigious super powers or he is concerned about heavy sustained gunfire. Perhaps a full on…
@MrGosukiller: Fair do. I'm running everything in 1920x1080 at the moment and haven't noticed any problems in any recent games. I perhaps foolishly preordered the collectors edition for SCII eons ago and once I recover from the poverty, my Q6600, 8800GTS machine is going to take a good crack at it. Are you on a…
@Derangel: Given that this game supposedly runs on a Radeon 9800 Pro, which if my component-fu serves is well over five years young now, any Geforce from post that era should walk all over it.
I for one, am pleased. This means when America next needs to go to war, they can just give Cheney a Crank-esq jumpstart and set him loose.
Rule #2: Double Tap.
Honestly, it looks a bit small...I may have to try something similar.
@Aaronjk: I can't actually think of a time in the last 4 years I haven't been able to access the net in some capacity. Even my phone is already set up so I can just plug it in and it instantly can become a 3G modem. Possibly I've got a luxury here but between said phone, my home connection and the computer labs at…
I just use Dropbox nowadays. Memory sticks are fast becoming pointless with the growing cloud.
@superhappyfuntime: I just had a horrible vision of a soldier giving a grenade to the squads' little flying robot and telling it to drop it through a window of that house over there...
@Leighroy: As my opinion goes, DirectX has become a lumbering behemoth, too big to support its own tesselated pixels. OpenGL has reached much higher peaks of performance without sacrificing quality, without requiring you to bump up to the latest Windows OS just to see if your card can scrape by.
@Mr.Affrox: I'm fairly certain Kevlar and Nomex, the two most popular ultra tough fibres are patented out the wazoo and only made by one company anyway. I could be wrong though. I'm behind on my reading.
@curtis07: Wow. I can't believe I never thought of that.
Discovering that some ethers are in a class called "steam-flammable". Turns out just keeping open flames away from them isn't enough. If they contact water, they blow up too.
@xair: Given that on day one of the launch, even the dudes who worked for Gizmodo had managed to shatter the casing on one of theirs, its a safe bet to say its a fragile phone.
