I don't have my old copies of PC Gamer on me so I can't provide any scans but this reminds me of the dragon in Everquest who was designed to be unbeatable...or so the devs thought.

The simple answer for the lower level raid options is to make a few tweaks and allow level 80's to march through soloing, or in a group of five. I mean we've all seen the vid of the 3 guys doing Onyxia but I can see myself have a whole bunch of fun with that and my close core of friends who play together. Hell,

I'd love to see a properly worked at and balanced CoD4 levelling system in Halo, replete with perks, unlocks etc. Even if the new game was called Halo: Battle Simulation and only had a MP component, I'd be damn impressed.

I recently returned (again) and charged my druid up with some outdated arena S2 balance gear and was truly amazed at the powerhouse I'd become. My faith renewed in my chosen class, I eagerly await the continuation of the story.

My only subscription is one to PC Gamer here in the UK, since I get the majority of my news from the web and the rest from the free Metro newspaper on the bus and I got absolutely diddly squat when I signed up for it over 6 years ago.

Oh. Hells. Yeah.

Given the cutting of the classes that took place, I haven't even registered my beta key. The pre-order is cancelled and it was for the Special Edition too. I was damn serious about this game as my new WoW drug, but the whole point was for me to step out of my normal healing role into the guise of a crazed dual-axe

The concept of making the hostage immovable seems supremely logical to me. It also makes the development of Stockholme Syndrome much easier to foster as well.

Hmm...my longest running gaming buddy is salivating over this.

Quad Core? Check

@Charbax: I think we've found Konami employee ¬_¬

My memory is a tad shakey on this topic but wasn't this brought up years ago when there were injunctions and whatnot against the PS2 being sold in developing countries etc because the CPU's and other components could be used to build missile guidance systems (or some other fear-mongering weapon)? I also vaugely

Indeed. Rag on the squids being controlled with psychic powers. I mean, every single armed force on the planet deployed Tesla Coils, Prism Towers and Illusion Tanks to their front line bases ages ago. But no, squids are just ridiculous ¬_¬

Well now I know what I want for Christmas. The TF2 Engineer Lego Box Set. Now with Mindstorm Missile Launching Capability!

$50 means that translates to about £29.99 in British stores when it hits but I'd be willing to invest in a MotionPlus if it did in fact lead to a proper swordfighting/lightsabre game. It is what EVERY single Wii owner wants, no matter how much or little they like Star Wars.

A proper fencing/sword-fighting game? I'll hit that.

Now can we make one that identifies strobing tags so we can set up 2Fort somewhere and not get shot up by our own turrets?

Goddamnit...the Orc Choppa was were I was going to cut loose from my serious healer/spellcasting Druid...and my beta key arrived today as well...

@Alvarez: I'm thinking Valkyr induced fantasy personally.

The instant explanation for Big Beach hitting the second spot is that Wii Fit is simply out of stock. Everywhere. Even the supermarkets are quoting a few weeks for it. So the kids bought something else to slake their Wii-lust and those two games were Smash Bros (because who doesn't want Mario and Sonic properly
