Ugh. I watched his “panel”. It got so creepy when he brought on his superfans to praise him for being so awesome.
What is his obsession with that damn song my God. Darkside looking like a frumpy clay man and Steppenwolf still looks bad. I can’t believe Zack and company are really putting frosting on this shit cake of a film and acting like they completely had nothing to do with the released version. The movie still looks…
Ah f. Ignore i got duped. :(
Yeah, theDisneyPlus is like theRealDonaldTrump, a parody account. Oh, wait ....
Not sure about your local theater but in SoCal you can’t see a movie for less than $13 a person on a good day. $30 for two people isn’t terrible.
I’d say this looked like the one that’d be worth it, since instead of a scene-for-scene remake they made it a martial arts action epic.
Black Widow too!
The price is probably a median of what they would expect in theaters - IE families of 1, families of 6. I know ticket prices are different everywhere, but in the ‘burbs where I am it’s still $15/ticket, so for my wife and myself we’re breaking even which is fine. For you it’s more.. for big families it’s much cheaper,…
For $30 they should ship me the Blu-ray when it comes out.
How much of this is because China looks to be on it’s way back to some level of “open” but Disney doesn’t want the blowback from releasing it there while withholding it in Western countries that are still behind the curve?
This isn’t really a surprise. Loeb was part of Perlmutter’s crew, and Perlmutter purportedly prevented the Black Widow, Captain Marvel and Black Panther films from being produced on similar “logic”. There’s also been persistent rumors that Loeb isn’t well liked in the Movie/TV business, and Loeb always seems to be…
They introduce Hulk, Ant Man, and Doctor Strange for the first time too.
Nailed it. Studios like to chase a magic bullet that’ll make a film succeed, in this case crossover events; when by and large it comes down to the quality of the film, how its marketed and how its reputation unfolds.
Yeah, he is not the great auteur he likes to think he is:
I’m there with you. Every interview seems to build more and more on the tall tale that is his version of the Justice League. Him suddenly remembering to talk about Cyborg in the Knightmare future is a pretty good example of what sounds like him pulling stuff out of his ass.
This movie was doomed from the day it was green-lighted several years too early.
I got into retro photography, so I now own 80 film cameras of wildly variable quality.
Musicians call it the exact same thing and my pedalboard just grows...
So funny, I’m into astrophotography and so much stuff is “On back order” cause everyone else is doing the same thing.
