I do believe it’s a correct usage when talking about film marketing.

Oh the guy from Haunting of Hill House is involved? Ticket sold.
Me: Please, please, please, please don’t have him run into a CGI’d Jack Nicholson.
So is Warner Bros. really positioning this as a sequel to the Kubrick movie? Because the book really isn’t a continuation of that iteration of the story.
It’s throwing me off that Black Widow looks like Colbie Smulders, I keep expecting her to be Maria Hill.
1000%. It's like on the way to Uncanny Valley they blew a tire and got stuck in "Generic Store Brand" Ravine.
Completely agree. It just looks like their idea was “let’s make a game based off the 2012 Avengers movie...but kinda do it slightly differently....” Like, why? You have the entire comics to go off of. You can do something CRAZY, but instead, their starting point is the 1st Avengers movie with a pretty boring lineup
Do MCU style or don’t do it at all. This halfway look just kills any and all interest I may of had in this. It just makes the game look.. I don’t know...fake or something. Like one of those knock off games from China or something.
Given that new consoles are coming later in 2020 this is a weird time to finally drop a AAA Avengers game.
I remember reading something once, dont know if its true though, about Ian Mckellen being upset acting with a green screen. Being in a scene with some sticks representing the other actors and having to pretend people were there. He hated it.
Man...I just hate having to get around all the dump trucks full of cash being driven up and dumped in my garage too.
Doesn’t everyone know that it takes time to make those Scrooge McDuck Vaults? Some people...
I guess her brain has turned to goop.
To be fair, Marvel is notorious for shooting movies while giving the actors minimal info. Captain Marvel’s post credits scene was just Brie Larson on a green screen set being told to ask someone “Where’s Fury?” with no context on who she was talking to, how many people were present, where she was, what was prompting…
And getting so many HUGE CHECKS, that you can’t even remember what they’re for.
Yeah, I can totally relate to being so successful and in so many projects that I can’t keep them straight.
It’s entirely possible that my annoyance with Paltrow has taken me around the bend, but this didn’t strike me as cute.
I mean, do you instantly get thrown off just because you hear and see other actors doing other roles? Can you only ever see RDJ as Tony Stark now forever no matter what? Voices are hard to forget, even more so when we hear them a lot, and this is like maybe 20 seconds of dialogue, and you can’t see him as stated.
Really…
If D&D wanted to move on they could have just given showrunner duties to someone else, like oh I don’t know Bryan Cogman. Forcing a quick wrap-up was not the right decision, and just makes it seem like they are control freaks who would rather kill their baby then see it in someone else’s hands
The only people who “Ran out of time” was D& D
Lots of good points in there. In particular, Jaime’s story was telegraphed from as early as season 3 to end with him killing Cersei. Not doing that subverts expectations, but really doesn’t make much storytelling sense. Deciding to stay in the north with Brienne would have been weird, but simply going south and…
