Yeah, I think there has been a big shift in her character’s motivations. Obviously, early on, she had no choice and Viserys was using her to advance what he saw was his rightful claim to the Throne. Eventually, Dany seemed more of an altruistic, idealistic potential Queen, one who could help people and change the

Even Missandei and Grey Worm picked up and understood that the Northerners don’t trust them without having to say a word (and, likely, have never seen non-White people before) but Dany still assumes they will just respect her due to her “rightful claim” to the Throne.

To paraphrase the great Simon Gruber from Die Hard With A Vengeance, There’s a different between not liking one’s father, and not caring when some mad Targaryen scorches him alive with a dragon.

I honestly forget, did Jeor join the Night’s Watch because of the disgrace that Jorah brought to his house and family?

Plus, Viserys’s death fucking rules.

Hardhome just seemed like Jon would go on a diplomatic mission and come back disappointed and maybe someone would die along the way. I definitely did not expect THAT from that episode.

It served to show how absolutely far gone Stannis was at that point. He was desperate and believed the words of a fanatic (two, if you count his wife) because his hunger to be King and to win was more powerful than his love for his own daughter. The fanatics were wrong.

That made me physically feel nauseous and that rarely happens.

Right. She was a bit more tactful before the walk of shame. I don’t think pre-walk Cersei would have ever resorted to blowing up hundreds of people at a religious ceremony just to get back at, essentially, three people.

You’re less cynical than I am. I assumed he led those kids to their deaths, too.

Qyburn’s reaction to the wight was so pitch-perfect. He was practically giddy at the sight of the living dead.

I agree, Jon is a far less-patient, more urgent, yet-deflated man post-resurrection. His naive idealism has largely been replaced with practical survivalism.

To be fair, Beric Dondarrion implied that each time he died, he lost more and more pieces of himself, including his memory. Jon died once, and it was a relatively clean and brief death. I wouldn’t expect him to be completely changed by just the one death.

We saw the creation of the first White Walker in the show, but we never saw if that walker ended as the Night King, did we? Either way, that guy was definitely NOT Bran.

The movie comes out on May 31st and I cannot fucking wait! The trailer has me so amped. I’m rewatching the whole series now and I’m mid-way through Season 2.

I loved that. Vic tried to take his consequences but, ultimately, the call of the street was too much to ignore. You knew it would be his eventual undoing, but Vic saying “Fuck it” and acting like the rules didn’t apply to him, once again, was just perfect for that show.

Walter’s phone call to Walter Jr. in “Granite State” was so heartbreaking. Walt deserved to hear all of that.

Blue Chips is great and Nolte’s monologue to the press is one of the best scenes in sports movie history.

He’s HORRIBLE at his job!

And the joke was that Tracy didn’t go off on a rant after he said it.
