I’ve been watching it on the BBC, and you’re right; it’s not a ‘typical John Goodman role’. But he does a fantastic job, as always and gets to play one of his most complex and layered characters since Walter Sobchak.

I think it would be much more effective if decent, conscientious audience members simply walked off and left the room in droves as soon as Louis CK appeared, because it would make it clear that it wasn’t just a single business owner that objected to his presence but a large number of the comic club attending public.
