I hardly see how getting a promotion or a new job (assuming you are keeping the same salary or moving up) is easily achievable in a year. Especially with the job market like it is.

My employer will pay 50% of tuition and books with a maximum towards books of $100. You are able to take advantage of this benefit after a year of employment, the education is deemed beneficial to the company and/or your position, and then you have to stay with the company for at least a year after the education has

It was a glorified text editor. There was absolutely no data processing.

I know very little about Android as I do not use one day to day so thank you.

"In the United States, you are right that the carriers disable the free wireless tethering feature. "

A Palm Pilot was hardly a computer in your pocket

I jailbreak my iPhone for MyWi (free tethering) and Multif0w (purely aesthetics). I am unaware of any Android phones that can tether for free, but that's beside the point. I jailbreak my iPhone for a single feature that I want, but the iPhone does not have.

"For example, you can get community-created ICS ROMs on phones that have been abandoned by their maker, for example the LG Optimus GT540 or the Samsung Galaxy 3."

"Well that's just stupid. It's ironic that a quote about getting concrete results is so broad and abstract the words it uses don't convey what it means."

I knew before reading the comments that I would find a post like this. Stop taking things so literally, because quotes are often very broad and/or abstract.

*slow clap*

This is a creative idea with good intent, but terrible drawbacks. You are decreasing the security of your password by using this period. If someone were to snap a picture of your password + visual hash. They would be two steps closer to knowing your password AND they would have a bottle of nitros under the seat.

Don't hate the player (Apple) hate the game (Patent System). HTC isn't and neither should you.

This may be a common sense feature, but it may have been achieved in a UNIQUE way.

Actually it is "InsideOut"

Devices similar to this have been around for a long time. I guess you need a clever name to appear on giz.

And just because they made a joke about something doesn't mean they've made a mistake. You can't really comment without know what they're intent was which is why your last post meant absolutely nothing.

I like how this is featured in the "Top 10 Space-Saving Household Projects" yet this saves absolutely zero space. In fact, I would argue that this takes up more space since you could just build the computer into a horizontal oriented mid-tower case, put it into your entertainment center, and still stack stuff on top

This. The company I work for has two planes. One is a jet (faster; less efficient) and the other is a prop plane (slower; more efficient).

"If I truly had something worth hiding, I would rather have something less conspicuous."
