If you want bat guano crazy technology, look at LMP1 cars next year. Traction Control, any displacement engine you want with up to 4 bars (58 PSI!) of boost, and the only performance balancing is on fuel consumption. Everything you want F1 to be doing with their engines, so watch it instead.
F1 has younger drivers, not better drivers. There's a reason successful F1 drivers age out of that series and go to Le Mans where their experience and intelligence plays more of a role than reflexes.
