Do you happen to know the maintenance costs of this truck? Running them at that speed over terrain wears stuff out. I don’t think a lot of buyer/lookers factor this into ownership. Ball joints, TRE’s, shock rebuilds etc...

Yes, I’d like to see the front suspension by itself. Chevy isn’t known for their suspension travel, or strong tie rod ends... I’d like to see what they did different, if anything, to improve the geometry and design.

2.0 and 2.5 shocks and or coilovers do do a better job of soaking up the bumps, but the valving is the valving. What you get with the bigger shocks is more fluid, less heat, larger shaft, and the ability to tune. I was looking at those while reading about 4low with front locked. Gonna be interesting how they hold up. I’d like to see the actual front suspension. Chevy’s front suspension design really isn’t suited to raptor style use, while the TRD PRO is closer.

I went to the last Houston IndyCar race a couple of years ago and the first race was in the rain. It was a fun thing to watch as a fan. It really changes the dynamic and the strategy. Plus I like to see these pro’s get a real challenge.
