The first one was a perfectly fine “historical” action movie not worthy of any major, non-technical, awards and in no need of a sequel.

That whole lockdown series was one of the best things to show up on Youtube during the pandemic - three millennial girls just doing three millennial girl roommate things.
Goddamn, I fucking hate every shit-ass word of that corporate-speak horseshit. Anyone who utters words like, “We’re really on track for a lot of asset value creation and free cashflow generation,” and “we’re coming from an irrational time of overspending with limited focus on return on investment,” shouldn’t be…
Re Boorman, I also liked his confidence in how good he looks naked and thus his confusion about his embarrassment at being naked at a wedding in his dreams.
I liked the music for the training montage. Now that we know that using contemporary music is part of the series, we should probably just get over it.
There’s a way to blend contemporary sensibilities with fantasy storytelling, but this is not it (at least there aren’t any rock tunes playing in the background during the episode).
In the film they wore furs...like they were some French fur trappers/traders.
There’s a pair of Orcas killing Great Whites for fun and eating their livers in South Africa right now, I’d say Orcas lost whatever goodwill they gained from Free Willy long ago haha. Sharks deserve better movie representation lol.
Well, since Jaws showed the shark as an evil, ravenous child-and-man-eater, gotta swing hard in the other fictional direction to make up for it and hope that public perception lands somewhere in the middle. More cuddly sharks befriending children, I say!
Salem the cat was kind of hot tho.
lmfao. Black Adam is done. Never gonna hear about it again. Glorious to see the Rock’s ego down a notch.
Chad is so good.
A full season of God Cop was filmed, but for tax purposes it will never air.
Real life is 30 Rock now, I fucking swear God Cop is hitting HBO Max next june
“You wrote off your own franchise? But why?”
I enjoyed The Nevers and would love to watch the rest of “season 1" but if it’s an original HBO production how would it end up on another streamer/network? And wouldn’t they still have to pay residuals which is what they’re trying to avoid?
This is so fucking gross.
Some of these sound like pretty interesting premises, and others, like Bateman and Arnett, sound like they’d be pretty hilarious.
If this fucks with Sandman and we don't get the Emperor Norton episode I will personally sound this dude with a rusty nail.
There’s no one to root here for (except tv show crews who actually work for a living).
