If we’re going to electric drag cars you might as well just switch to reaction time competitions. Nothing fun about watching silent cars run for 8 seconds at a time

good way to spread sickness too
Really tired of everyone begging for an authoritarian crackdown. I’m not willing to trade freedom so that I can feel like the .gov is “doing something”. I’d appreciate it if they’d mostly leave businesses alone so we can make a living. Everyone knows how to wash their hands and asses.
It’s main reason for existence is likely chassis cab/cutaway work. Akin to to the ford E450's that ran around with v10s for so long. Betting this is to get that lucrative market share. If one or two muscle vans sneak out along the way whos to judge
The big wheels seem to stem from building heavier and heavier cars which require bigger and bigger brakes. It sucks but it beats replacing inboard mounted brakes regularly
if they can get that range while its wildly overloaded it’ll probably sell decent. Right now plumbers and the like usually get about 30k out of a set of rear brake pads for example
it was the ultimate evolution of grassroots racing. Now it will be a bloated touring car series with little to set it apart
Subaru should really give up on the flat four. No power, and a lack of reliability that wouldnt be accepted from any other car maker.
That’s an absolutely massive article over a pretty benign paint scheme change. Whats so wrong with a simple red, white, and blue plane?
Im with you on most of this but electric steering is nice. Makes pulling a car apart for major work nicer too, less fluid and hoses to deal with
Wonder how many of those crashes were caused by one car going 80 and the other 55 or some similar scenario.
most of the body panels can interchange but the front ends of both have been refreshed. If it ain’t broke... Beats the hell out of a transit-150 at least as far as maintenance is concerned
It’ll teach the youngsters how to check oil consumption rates and replace headgaskets. I agree. Before everyone chimes in how the “fixed it this time” I sincerely doubt it. They haven’t yet and likely won’t until ICE engines are no longer produced
power, efficiency, and safety would likely be the main reasons
Who cares about the color of skin or the kind of genitals they have? Diversity for diversity’s sake is lame. If it’s good I’ll watch, if it’s shit I wont
If the steering wheel is the only thing keeping you awake at 85 you’ve got bigger problems
Seems kind of like a waste of sheetmetal. too big for a car and too little cargo space for an suv/cuv. Should be smaller for more efficiency or bigger for more usefulness. Could’ve gone with a cool retro name like Futura too.
I don’t think anything could convince me to buy a mitsubishi unless they radically altered the brand and built v8 rwd/awd cars, suvs, and trucks for about 2/3 the price of a comparable Ford or Dodge. Safe to say I’m not in their target demographic
ThEy FiXeD iT tHiS tImE! - Fanboys every time subaru updates their POS flat-4
Based on your quoted section of their statement the only person dying on “the dumbest” hill is you
