Any way to use frequent flyer miles to build the wall ?

Seems like an FCA breakup is possible...

Nice idea, but I’m not digging that...current body style makes the 2 tone look like racing stripes on a whale.

We have now officially found the bottom of the “women in racing”. Barrel

Give it a rest. Every day, you ladies post 3 articles about some women that might have been talented in 1918. It speaks volumes that none of the articles concern 2018.

This story is so lame, I almost wishing it was more Trump or Elon bashing.

Jalopnik can’t seem to grasp that the 50-state solution” is the same one they were bitching about 2 days ago when it was labeled ‘Trump is mean to CA boo hoo hoo...’

The article would make sense if Toyota was known for beautiful, but poorly packaged vehicles. Instead, they start with an uninspired shape, and then drop the standard transverse engine and automatic transmission where it fits? (spoiler: it’s the front!)

A reasonable man would propose that CARB current standards be fixed, and their exemption expires when it is eclipsed by the federal standard some time in the future.

Tariffs encourage the use of material, parts, and finished goods that are made in America. Toyota is revealing that their “made in the USA” Camry is mostly made from imported parts. Guess what? So are many Ford, GM and FCA vehicles. But the tariffs will provide incentives to transistion to parts and materials

How’s this work? Someone tells you in the morning Team Gawker roundtable that you need to do a couple more Trump bashing articles and then you guys brainstorm to come up with what you think will be the most compelling to Jalops? These tariffs are long overdue defense of our American industries. Most of them demand

Steel and Aluminum production is an obvious national security interest. These tariffs on finished cars and parts are necessary to prevent the importation of parts to side-step the material tariffs.

Sadly typical...complain about whatever Trump proposes while knowing less than Trump about the topic.

I get that this is Gawker, where there is a zero tolerance and zero thought policy on Trump, but as someone that works in the auto industry, this would be a godsend.
