It's David Rubin on the art, who's doing the Aurora West miniseries. I'm not sure when he drew that book, but he's a pretty strong storyteller. There's another book he's doing with Curt Pires called "The Fiction" through Boom that's also worth a look.

I'm fairly convinced that most of DKR is Janson's work, making form out of Miller's basic shapes.

And Bone. The dude who recommended Bone was spot on.

Umbridge doesn't follow Voldy either. She's an opportunist. I think the Lich:Martin one works.

Yeah, I haven't played much of it, but I've enjoyed every Star Wars Card Game session I've participated in.

Nothing much to add except I agree.

Actually let's try again.

Mine was the Jurassic Park soundtrack. I still have the CD itself, but I lost the case a long time ago. :(

Did you finish the Ambergris cycle? Shriek: An Afterword and Finch? There's an interrelated narrative there and VanderMeer tries all sorts of fun stuff within the stories. I recommend them. (Honestly, I recommend VanderMeer to anyone who will or won't listen.)

You know, Interstellar probably would have done better if it weren't nearly three hours long.

It's Paul Pope. Drawing a Batman story.

Love & Rockets for the first time. I'm loving it so far. Can see why it's spoken about with such esteem.

Battling Boy's a cliffhanger. Though First Second didn't announce that till the book came out. I think if you go into it reading it and knowing that it's two parts, the ending will work better for the story.

I could see where you're coming with that. But if so, they saved face, because Orion became the chauvinist jerk who came to realize family was important and whatnot.

I agree with what you're saying. And just wanted to chime in that I think Wonder Woman was the best title any of the superhero comics companies were putting out. Like, it's classic. I'm sad to see it end, but I'm glad it ended on its own terms.

All about Garnet over here.

Bigger week for me:

I was a latecomer to comics, but I had read the Disney Adventures Bone stuff with relish as a kid. And seriously one of the most exciting days for me was when I discovered the giant omnibus of Bone and was like: "OH MY GOD, THERE'S MORE?!"

It was an accomplished work, no doubt. And frequently terrifying. I guess I'm trying to figure out what to make of it.

Adventure Time has always been one of the books I look forward to every month. My favorite still is the one where BMO gets hacked and they have to deal with that digital nerd dude.
