I think some people just actually spend all of their money on drinks, dinner, clothes, and trips. Anyone who is really responsible with their money is going to be a bit more frugal, no matter how much they earn.

Yeah - I think a lot of the big spender friends are either not saving any $ or subsidized. They are not necessarily being responsible with their cash.

So go. Nothing is stopping you, whereas circumstances and income inequality are stopping them. Or 2) buy a ticket for one of your friends to join you.
