I'm interested to see how that is handled. It seemed to me from the reports that the officer did not intend to shoot him and was very remorseful. He probably shouldn't have been on the police force either, unfortunately. A stew of racism and incompetence, so sad.

She was discredited because of her demeanor and let's face it, her race. People called her stupid, the one juror said she didn't understand her. Her best friend was killed and she had to listen to his last words and testify about them on television. Then apparently the jury disregarded her testimony. And that's

Thanks! Yeah, she sounds like a jerk, kind of like a young comic trying to be cool. I never really saw her on the DS but I like her on the Newsroom.

I really do not like her, and a big part is that she looks like a 12 year old. Her character is also way annoying.

What did she say? I get the cool vibe from her, but she's also really beautiful and not in a cute and nonthreatening way like Alison Pill. I'm sure there were a lot of girls in school and whatnot that were not very nice to her as a result.

He really is so...yes. And a great actor! Of course, I may just be blinded by hormones.

Yeah. They don't even realize what assholes they're being.

I don't know if it really helps the cause for the NYT to be promoting stories about women who no longer care about career advancement if they could just work from home a bit more.

I really want to post this on FB but I fear the wrath of all the FB families that are constantly updating the world about HOW HAPPY THEIR FAMILIES ARE!!!!

"I'm not a meteorologist" LOL. Truth.

Leo is the WORST. I used to think he seemed like a nice guy, but the constant modelizing, at his age, is getting into sad territory.

Yes. I keep hearing men of color say things like "oh, she's so innocent" about random white women they don't even know. I'm like, do you hear yourself? I think that something similar is going on here with JayZ and Miley.

I totally did not understand that either.

Sorry. Enjoy beautiful Brooklyn!

I think you're getting beat up a bit too much here. I even kind of agree with the statement you highlighted, although I usually think clothes fall better on slender but not super skinny frames. But then I see someone like Joan from Mad Men and I'm like WOW, shit looks amazing on her. In any case, I'm sure it is

I know! It's like an oasis. I wish there were better parks, but the LIC waterfront is a nice jog from my apt and also underrated. See you around!

You're from Riverdale aren't you?

srsly. i feel so bad for those hipsters who are moving all the way the hell out to worse and worse neighborhoods when they could just move to (shhhhh!) and probably even save money.

I grew up here, and most of my NYer friends are pretty laid back, but also hyper aware of what's around them. I guess I would say that growing up in NY is in some ways safer than growing up in the suburbs (less drunk driving). You won't see drunk 16 year old girls on the subway but you will see drunk 23 year old

THIS is why the article is so offensive. It's actually also kind of bizarre and out of touch. The reason I'm so riled up though is because it assumes the vantage point of someone who has achieved adulthood via the vehicles of marriage and childbirth, when we all know that these things are not necessarily achievements
