Manufacturers championships, but fair point

Whats that saying? The best way to make a dime at racing is to spend a dollar?
I had no idea the government operated the Bang Bus website, but not surprised. Also, if my wife is reading this, I have no idea what a Bang Bus is. And also, don't look at the last 4 credit card statements please.
Sadly, CP.
Now drive them back to back. The G30 is boring to drive, especially as a 520d. It's a sterile luxury boat without driver involvement. This E34 is very different.
Agreed. Southwest (San Diego specifically) followed by the Northwest. I’ll qualify this opinion by saying that i’ve lived in the NorthEast (NJ- a Camaro in every driveway) , Midwest (Texas) California (Sacramento, LA and San Diego) and the Pacific Northwest over the last 30 years and the best selection of well cared…
California. Period.
I think income level has something to do with it too. Around where I live (Georgia) houses start in the mid $100k range with the average middle class house in the mid $200k range. Most guys are lucky if they can spend say 5-10% of their home price on a car to play with, in addition to a daily driver. When a two…
I’ve lived many places, but when it came time to choose someplace to live as a hardcore car enthusiast, I chose LA. I mean, really no place compares. Sure, Detroit has a cool cruising scene along Gratiot and Woodward, and Florida is an automotive free-for-all, but no place in the US is like Los Angeles.
1. Southwest: Lots-a money, eclectic population, no rust, the birthplace of hot rod culture, low riders, authentic patina Datsun 510s, Bonneville, Monterey week, Tesla.
Agreed – Southwest (especially CA) wins.
Northwest, specifically the San Francisco Bay Area because reasonably dry climate and mild weather has preserved all of our favorites. Just check sfbay craigslist and you’ll see what I mean....practically every crazy car you can think of is on there and if not, it’s still available for sale somewhere (also look at the…
West, north or south.
This annoys me. A lot. I have a lot of love the IS. It’s the sensible man’s 3 series - the person who wants to buy a small, reasonably fast, luxury sedan instead of leasing one. I’m annoyed because this is such a goddamn wasted opportunity. Imagine a gorgeous, fast, well equipped, reliable comfortable sports sedan…
This is the kind of thing a real enthusiast would have a tattoo of.
So yeah, but.... reliability and fuel economy are kind of important in a 24 hour endurance race. I’m guessing you’d agree, but the fact that it won is super impressive and the fact that it didn’t have the fastest pace doesn’t diminish the accomplishment.
Good luck finding the BXD20 (civilian version) but the BXD10's are already here.
2JZ gang gonna come out of the woodwork any minute now.
I remember seeing that in Popular Science or some such magazine back in the day, and thinking it was cool and great idea. Now, after being a truck driver off-and-on for 30 years, I can see how terrible an idea it really is. In just about every way.
I could almost buy that this ad just ‘slipped through’ and had no racist intent except for this:
